Oftentimes the activities surrounding an evening
theatre performance are a important (if not more so) than the show itself. This hotel project takes a standard hive of rooms and breaks up the mass with three large interlocking volumes.
The bar and restaurant volumes break their way in to the corners of the theatre, providing unique sight-lines and a glass-bottomed dining experience where the audience can peer down into the performance below. Each volume is designed as a double shell, so that circulation can occur in the periphery of all three volumes.
